In both DLCs you can't use your normal weapons a majority of the time and in both you get them back. The Pitt has many cool weapons and armors, but for many you have to collect 100 steel ingots.

I picked Anchorage because you get Chinese Stealth Armour... <3 <3 <3
If you're a sneak character, it's teh best. If not, the Pitt seems to have more weapons you can get.

1 word ----- 'Chinese Stealth Armour'.... ok, that's 3 words, but I think I've made my point. Get Anchorage. :tops:

oa = shooting chinese invader + shooting chinese invaders + shooting chinese invaders + stealth armor.

The Pitt

It gave me more playing time than OA, I do have them all (DLC) and love MZ the best.

But mods, mods are another story...................

O:A has better gear. The Pitt has the Ammo Press and a better story.

I voted for O:A.

The Pitt has the Metal Blaster, the ammo press for precious 44 ammo and a great story to go along with all the killing. I voted The Pitt.

i voted for OA because of the chinese stealth armor. with it and high sneak you are almost undetectable when using silent weapons like nuke grenades.

get all the add-ons. the CSA will help with point lookout and on the space ship.

Oh, that's a tough question.

The Pitt has a great story, and at the end there's a very tough morale decision to make. I mean, I'm still not sure if my choice was the correct one. The fact that it's morally gray is good, in my opinion, as most things seem very black and white in the Capital Wasteland.
Alongside that, there's plenty of good gear to be found: Auto Axe, Deathclaw Gauntlet, Metal Blaster, Tribal Power Armour and much, much more. Though, you will need to do a lot of ingot searching to obtain a fair few of the items, but it isn't as boring as it sounds, and the weapons and armour are worth it.

On the other hand, Operation Anchorage is mostly just mindless shooting... but for some reason I kind of enjoyed it. I think it's because it is actually different in that you don't have Stimpaks and you will often need use ammo dispensers. The enemies are of a moderate difficulty, but the end fight is a nice challenge.
If you're not into that kind of stuff, then don't worry, as there is a redeeming factor: the reward is fantastic. You're given weapons and armour that you're sure to use often, and are very powerful. That alone is almost worth the 800MS.

It's a hard decision to make, but in the end I voted for The Pitt. Though it only won by a whisker.

I think Op:A is boring for a lot of people, because it's not about exploration and gathering items to make you stronger. There's only a tiny bit of exploration (it runs on rails, very linear) and anything you collect inside goes away when you exit (barring the use of the Gary 23 bug). So folks tend to see it as combat-focused instead of the more sandbox style of some other DLCs.

(MZ is also very linear, but you get to take the goodies home with you. The Pitt is linear in terms of the quest, but the locations are interesting and you constantly revisit areas.)

The Pitt. Hands down. I think you're making a mistake going with O:A. I saw it as a shooter's big box level.
