So I just became harbringer of the companions and returned back to whiterun only to have Eourlund gray mane attacking me for no reason at all.

I have tried killing him and resurrecting him with console = Did not work

I have tried using console command to stop combat with him = Did not work he only starts to attack me again >_>

I have tried yielding = Did not work

I have tried disabling him then enabling him = Did not work

The bastard is hell bent on killing me... I have no bounty and i have never ever done anything to provoke him.

Have any of you had this problem, If so how did you fix it? Only way i see now is too kill him.

Pay off any bounties you may have. Cast a Calm or Pacify spell.

Well I managed to solve the problem by first typing "setav aggression 0" then "stopcombat"

Thing is i had to do this on every member of the companions

They really did not want me to become harbringer lol

Is it just them or do any other NPC's act this way towards you?

Should have known those Gray-Manes were into the Skooma trade.

It was only the companions
