Help Mt Face Plz

Post » Tue Dec 30, 2014 5:54 pm

I recently received a CyberPowerPC Windows 7 Home premium edition. I have been playing a variety of games on this computer that all have 0% Lag on this PC. I decided recently it was time I pick up the version of Skyrim for PC so I could mod and use cheats. However when I boot up the game on this beast of a PC for some reason im running at like 3 frames per sec? Pls if anyone has a solution I would greatly appreciate it.

Please post a Dxdiag on this thread in spoiler tags. http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1122570-how-to-dxdiag/. Until we know what kind of hardware you have, there really isn't much we can do to help.

In addition.............( read above posts and respond)

What mods do you have loaded? What cheats?

Did you try Skyrim out when you first installed it with no mods?

ALways a good idea to make sure the base install functions properly first. I don't ahve alot of time right now.

I would do a clean reinstall of Skyrim and try that out.

The main point is to manually delete the main Skyrim directory after you remove local content.

Mark41 posts a great clean uninstall procesdure: http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1512193-serious-framerate-issues-after-power-outage/

2nd post down. Once finished just reinstall Skyrim and try it out. I would also add you should try to delete the 2 .ini files (Skyrim.ini and Skyrimprefs.ini) and let the game redetect your settings.

They are located here: .........\Documents\My Games\Skyrim

But the question remains...DxDiag ??? lol

Or at least, what CPU and GPU do you have. !!!! (Or even the model of your CyberpowerPC, or a link perhaps ???)

Well, i imagine you have at least 4GB of ram.
