I am hoping someone can help with me finding a dead thrall spell without going to the College of Winterhold, I am not planning on going to the college this playthrough, I have heard that there are some in or around apochraphya, also am planning on not using bend will shout on the stones in Solstheim, I was hoping that in soul cairn, may be able to get one, since the spells given are sporadic (unpredictable), anyone find the thrall spells anywhere else?

Level your Conjuration to 90. It's a powerful spell after all.

I'll wait and see if soul cairn weirdly enough give the spell tome, they give some good spell tomes, I found one thrall spell in another place, was kinda nice, but would really like the dead thrall spell, rather than from the college of winterhold, it's more satisfying in my opinion to get these tomes from other places

The Soul Cairn is limited to a certain variety of spells. You won't get master level spells from there. The only way to obtain the Dead thrall is from the college.

All Master level spells can only be obtained after completing the associated ritual at the college.
