Help! I can't remember which quest Skjor (of Companions) gave me. It's been some time since I touched Whiterun and I forgot. The last quest i completed for them was the one where I team up with Farkas in a dungeon. Since then I don't remember receiving a new companions quest. The others members won't give me quests any more, they say first I should do the one Skjor gave me. Then I go to Skjor and ask for work and he tells me to do the quest he already gave me. The problem is I've read every single quest in my journal and none appears as given by Skjor, I can not identify it.

I'm on PC, is there any console method to reset the quest or to cancel the last one so that Skjor would give me the quest again?

No, I don't have that one in the quest log. I just checked what Skjor is doing at night anyway, and he's not going to the forge entrance

'Proving honor' is the one before that. It involves Skjor and Varkas. (getstage "proving honor") should tell you where you are.

Are you on one called "Trouble in Skyrim"?

I haven't done the companions quest line yet but according to the guide there is prerequisties to finish the companions' proving honor quest and one faction radiant quest before you can do the silver hand quest.

The radiant quest givers are; Aela gives an animal incursion quest and Farkas gives an hired musle quest.

"Proving Honor" is done, it's in my completed section of the quest log. From Aela or Farkas I don't remember taking quests, but even if I did, why wouldn't they appear in the journal? And why do they tell me to do the quest given by Skjor before they have work for me... as long as I don't have any quest by Skjor in the log I think the only reasonable explanation would be Skjor already gave me the Silver Hand quest but for some reason it doesn't start, it's not in my journal and Skjor is not going to the meeting point at night. I wish I could "undo" the last completed quest and do it again.

You could try and kill Skior and se what happens if somebody else give you the same quest.
