I've gone a bit too far with my recent modding foray and my framerate is dipping into the low twenties just walking and looking around. It drops into the teens in any kind of combat.
I think the game looks http://imgur.com/1aYa6Nz so I'd like to preserve what is possible without just arbitrarily cutting stuff.
I'm looking for some tips about optimizing settings and things now. I think the single biggest hit I noticed was after running TES4LODgen, so maybe there is a way for me to revert that change or tweak it to be less severe?
After noticing the big performance hit I went back and ran tes4ll on lower settings but I don't think that made much difference.
