So i got Mayor John Hancock to join my town in Sanctuary. After i did that, i finished a mission that requires me to talk to him afterwards but when ever i try and do the mission he always asks me if i want to have him as my companion instead and i can never get the mission done. Mission Name: Return to Hancock, under misc missions.

Make him your companion then talk to him again
