Problem:
All my saves are in the Documents/MyGames/Skyrim/Saves folder (I also copied it to my desktop as well). I have tried to restart Skyrim, restart Steam, and even restart my Computer to no avail. I have NOT implemented ANY MODS and have only been playing the Skyrim: Legendary with DLC. Steam is updated and Skyrim is updated as of today. I have even tried replacing the old Saves with the copies I made, but also to no avail.
How This Occurred:
I closed Skyrim. Normally when I close it, I just go in and click on Continue. This time, the only option is New. When playing a New game I tried to Load from in-game, but that option is still greyed out. When I opened the game this time however, it wanted to re-detect my graphics setting. This setting never changed however I allowed it to re-detect once again. I am of the mind that this has caused the problem.
I have almost 30 hours on this game this weekend and have had absolutely no problems with it whatsoever.
EDIT:
I was able to regain my Saves as I had to go into the C drive to find the proper saves (why windows things they need to put the same things everywhere, I don't know) BUT NOW MY HOUSE IS GONE!
I get the error that says that some things may not load because they are no longer present...
EDIT #2:
I fixed the House problem too. Apparently my Data Files for DLC weren't checked.
