I remember reading a book/note etc that briefly mentions the existence of an ancient bird or feathered race. I know that is not much information to go on but I do not have the game installed and it is bothering me that I cannot remember the book! It was one of the coolest additions to lore that Oblivion had IMO and I would really like to read it again. Any help would be much appreciated!

Yea I think that was the bit I was looking for. Bird people who lived near the cat people...how tragic! I just wish they had a name! They were friendly and learned to speak and write, makes it such a shame if they have truly gone extinct.

Meh, it adds to the mystery. If I ever wished to bring back a race, (with what we know) it would be Dwemer.
