Where did you send them?

I personally don't like sending them to Sanctuary or another large settlement because I have a hard time finding them again.

I lost dogmeat but I was thinking it was more of a misplaced than lost, because I have two companions that are people right now so I figured he just stayed at one the the settlements I went to

I'm thinking of just dropping them off personally

I've lost Dogmeat once and had him turn up back at the Red Rocket gas station.

Whenever I try to get a new follower it's always asked me where to send the previous one. Which is why i'm not sure how you could have two companions right now.

I'm currently looking for dogmeat, I've read somewhere that he doesn't respond when you ring the bell and might be hanging around one of the doghouses in sanctuary so I'm trying there. I want to put up lost dog posters 馃槥

I quit one of the early missions early because I was to low of a rank, and the black guy with the cowboy hat has stuck with me ever since

I don't send Dogmeat to large settlements, e.g. Sanctuary Hills.

I make sure there is a Doghouse at all places I send him.

Similarly, I'll send companions to small settlements close to the City so I can find them.

It would be nice to have the option to send companions to other 'suitable locations'

but I'm sure there will be a mod for that.

Dog meat, if sent to sanctuary, SHOULD be in a small "dog house" north in Sanctuary.

I found dog meat I just can't find piper i sent her to the starlight drive in and she's not here
