help 'modding' a console?

Post » Tue Oct 22, 2013 7:26 pm

so ive never done this before, and i dont know where to look to find the 'mod' im looking for. idk if theyre even considered mods because theyre for console and i feel like theyre limited... anyways

im looking for a mod that will let me take a usb, copy a save file over, plug it into my computer, and then edit what my character's stats, loadout, and completed quests are.

i want to do this because i always start a character, play through the initial crap to start learning shouts and fighting dragons, get to about level 20, then i want to change my playstyle. i would love if i could just set my character's stats to a mid level build, post dragon rising, giving myself fus ro and dah, and then running out on my merry way rping them.

so can anyone suggest me something maybe theyve used? it would be very much appreciated :)

Unfortunately console modding isn't supported and are not to be discussed here. Let's just hope Bethesda browse this forums and see that console people are asking for mods support and provide it for their next games :)

I often heard it is against consoles EULA, but I'm not sure about the specific reasons behind it. Maybe someone else could gives you a more direct answer.

Memory limitations being one thing. The consoles barely run the game as is.

Second, the console companies themselves are a problem. Somebody mods in nudity, child killing or what have you, they have a headache and marketing nightmare. Really, is there a *single* game on a console that is moddable? Without breaking eula.

Microsoft and Sony don't support non-developer content and it's against the EULA.

Also, talking about it here is against the Terms and Conditions you agreed to when signing up to the forums.

Once again:

You want mods? Get the game for PC. Sink that to your heads, please.

Yep OK. Stopped "minding"

Discussion of modding consoles is not a topic for discussion on these forums as it contravenes the console manufacturers EULA.
