I started this. My character seemed to be in a really dark hole or mine. And I can not get out. Tried jumping, moving in differnt directions, waiting for something to happrn, picking things up. Nothing. Stayed stuck.

Am I doing something wrong? Did the install mess up? What am I supposed to do?

Well that proves it. I am really stuid. This was supposed to be in the Nephim thread.

Just open the console and type "tcl" if you are stuck. That command removes collision. Once you move out of the place that you are stuck at, type "tcl" again.

No, the OP's issue is specific to Nehrim - it's how the game starts. He has to do something before he can move. tcl'ing will break the game in this case Hopefully he posted in the Nehrim thread and got help there.
