Hi!

Im thinking about making a new mage character after reading about the dead thralls and elemental thralls...but im not sure. Ive tried making a mage character and quickly became bored and wanted to smash things with my warrior again..

Make a battlemage, best of both worlds =]

How about you just take your existing character, buy some spellbooks and start casting spells?

Unless you want to change your race, there's no point in making a new char.

Roleplaying? My mage will never join the thieves or db and there are two sides of the civil war after all.

Why ask the internet what you personally feel like doing?

Take Two-Handed, Conjuration and Destruction then go boom-headshot the world.

If your happy with starting over and over and over again for every little detail be my guest or you can stay free and level up without using perks than deciding what you want to use or plan ahead with a calculator such as in my sig which happens to have a conjuration build.
