Help me pick a DLC? : Fallout: New Vegas

I am going to start a new character and I'm really looking at hard at getting one of the DLC packs. I do NOT have a character build set in my mind yet, so what I want to focus on is not in my list of concerns. Can anyone recommend a DLC pack? I'd prefer something that would give a great bonus by finishing it.

OWB by far

but id check out the vault wiki before buying any of them depending of what you consider a good reward

Depends on what you like in a DLC. Dead Money gives a great bonus at the end (like you mentioned) but you can never go back, a one-time trip.

My favorite was Honest Hearts.
Story was short, But you get what I consider the best rewards from it.

Colt.45 pistol and a Thompson SMG.

Owb is the best so far I think if you like dark jokes and it's also harder to beat then the other DLCS plus its also got many good weapons.

OWB is the best so far according to the polls. It is also mine, but Dead Money is a close second.

Honest Hearts wasn't my favorite dlc ever, but the toys you get out of it are pretty hard to beat, at least to me anyway.

The DLC you chose to purchase depends on your play style (fallout wise). If your main or alt will be guns exclusively, ( i am referring to the class/skill you will specialize in) then Honest Hearts.

Maybe you have an interest in EW ( Energy Weapons) , then without a doubt OWB should be your main candidate.

To acquire the 'Holorifle', 'Assassin Armor', sneak +10 and the 'Sierra Madre Reinforced Armor', a light armor with a DT of 18, you must do Dead Money. You can also become an extremly rich man.

Well, that'd be OWB, then. Without spoiling anything, the "bonus" is given at the beginning of the DLC, but it's something you get to get to keep when you're done, and you'll likely enjoy making use of it.

OWB and Dead Money. HH is decent its just that OWB and Dead Money have the best rewards of all of them. Edit: Can a mod delete that second post I have got no idea why it is there thank you.

depends on what kind of DLC u want.

Dead Money- the most difficult

Honest Hearts- Best story

Old World Blues- Best Gameplay/Funniest

If you do the right things before leaving Dead Money, it is the most rewarding. Even without cheating I left their with over 35,000 caps worth of currency. Not to mention a few new weapons and armor.

DM is also the best dlc IMO, but be warned, it is a love it or hate it dlc it would seem.

based purely on the rewards you get from it.......Honest hearts ! My character is a master of stealth, and one of the rewards has changed the way i now play the game. But it is a difficult call to make when faced with only having the option to get one of them

OWB gets 97 pts out of 100 (random crashes abit to common), Honest hearts 91 pts, and DM 23 pts. You did the right choice but I highly recommend getting HH to

i liked dm was a lv 30 god pridefull and arogant whent in thinking it will be to easy came out limping and overweight

I would say OWB because you get a house, a few special things that cant be obtain anywhere else, lots of unique items, a lot of funny humor, a large explorable area, and a fun time. But then there is DM which also gives you some great items, an infinite amount of certain normal items, alot alot alot of money, but you can never return. Your choice in the end

I say HH. Best balanced out rewards in terms of weapons, armors and recipes. Dont go for the easy to break down OWB energy weapons. And the K9000 as awesome as it is, is just not IT. But that's my opinion.

I'd say wait for lonesome roads. You never know, it may be the best out of all 3.

But as of right now, OWB's. Especially if you like energy weapons.
