I had to reformatt my old ps3 and did not back it up. I do have the save files from new vegas. The problem is that when i load the data it will not let me save?!

I will do anything to get these hundreds of hours of gameplay back.

sooo now im using a new ps3 but do not know how to make my old save files compatible.

Someone please help!!! preferable an offical from bethseda. I put sooooooo much work into this game and not being able to play my charictar beacuse my old ps3 died is unacpetable! please please help.

The saves are user-specific. Thus, you need to re-create the exact same account (PSN-ID) on your new PS3 and activate it through the PSN. Then, it should run fine again.
You could also try to enable autosave, maybe this save-method works. Then, loading the autosave ... could work, maybe.
