Help! Purchased game, key not valid.

Just bought the game from the site, downloaded it, installed it. Well it asks for the serial number (to be expected) and I enter in the activation code provided. It doesn't work! Literally copy and paste, and it just asks me to contact customer support. Anything blatantly obvious that I'm missing--I want to play and get trying this game!

Try typing it instead of copy-pasting it

If that is not working wait for the new 1.9 patch, which should fix the (rare) issue ;)

I tried to reinstall it, copy and paste, typing it with and without hyphens, pretty much everything I could think of. I suppose I'm waiting until tomorrow or when gamesas responds to my support ticket--whichever comes first!

Just wanted you to know that if the patch doesn't fix the problem (it didn't for me), EA can help you get a new key via customer support. My guess is this is an issue that was growing pre-patch. Hopefully it ends cause this game is fun! :)
