Help on rebooting?

Post » Sat Jul 09, 2011 10:58 pm

Hi I just wanted to know, when you reboot, do all your stats get reset? I want this because when i first got the game I was just learning to play and honestly I failed terribly and greatly effected my K/D ratio. But now that im alot better and im close to being able to reboot soon, I really want to redo it and now if its possible, ill be able to make my K/D ratio like 2-3! and right now its almost one because of how I played when I first got it. Can anyone answer my question?

It used to reset stats, but it does not anymore, you are stuck with you K/D as it is now.

I tell this to all my friends who obsess over their k/d ratio or stats in general: they're pointless, virtual, numbers that have no impact on your life; get over it. People who stress over these pointless stats in games truly sadden me and same goes for people who brag about them. It's almost as if they have self-esteem issues they need to boost by "showing off" pointless stats in a video game. Unless you play in something like MLG where these stats might be worth something, don't stress over it. In the end if you're constantly thinking of your stats being impacted in one way or another you'll never have fun.

They are really not pointless. They are pointless to you perhaps, but to each his own, I suppose. What they do show is how skilled he is at the particular game. In my experience, the only people that says K/D ratio does not matter are people with bad K/D ratios.

Not always. My k/d is generally consistent between 1.5-2 in almost every multiplayer game I play and I don't think twice about how it's affected because it's a video game, not stat management. People may brag of having a, say, 3.5 k/d and might think anything below maybe a 2.5 or 2 is terrible, though, when in actuality anything above one is good. In my experience, those are the people who I consider to be stat whores most of the time. And don't even get me started on people who mod/hack/boost to get to the top of the leader boards lol.

Anything above 1 is indeed good, but someone with a 3 would generally be better than someone with a 1, and that is how stats matters. boosters and hackers are somewhat unrelated, and should be stopped.

You seem to need help with everything. Do you have a problem where you cannot figure anything out on your own?
