Help me recover 'Axe of Whiterun'

Post » Wed Mar 27, 2013 8:02 am

Hi

When I started playing Skyrim it was the first game of its kind for me. I slayed the dragon near the Western Tower in Whiterun and was made Thane and given Lydia as housecarl. I think I was awarded an 'Axe Of Whiterun' too. I think I might have sold that axe to the trader in Riverwood or Belethor in Whiterun(I was level 10 at the most at this time). But now after a long time (I am level 40 now) I am unable to find the axe with either traders as I wanted to buy it back to complete my collection of weapons that act as badge of office of a Thane.

Is there any way to recover the axe. Meanwhile I will also check if I gave it to Lydia and if it was on her(Lydia died when I went to fight the Alkyr Headhoncho).

Thanks in advance
Xarin

Doesn't that axe have a simple frost enchantment on it? You could simply make another one. Name it when you place the enchantment on it. I think it is a basic steel war axe with the enchantment.

Just a thought.

I think it was cycled through the game. Not sure if thats the reason. If you want it that badly, you can Forge and enchant your own and it will probably be stronger.

The enchantment and the weapon material is quite random.
Once, I got a Orcish Waraxe with an Turn Undead enchantment on it.
It doesn't has to be a waraxe though, you can also recieve a Two-Handed Battleaxe.

If you sold it to a shopkeeper a while back, it's as good as gone... if you're on the 360. If you're on the computer there's a way, I understand, to put the item back into your inventory, but I wouldn't know the specifics.

Just realized that after looking it up. I guess I've always received the axe so early on that it was steel and I'm guessing I've seen more with frost enchants than otherwise. But that is cool! Since it is random, make what you want to make and just name it!

I think I'll forge one as I have no clue where mine is currently. The B.A. Axe of Whiterun.

Axe of Whiterun is a random axe with a random stock enchantment. It's not an artifact, it's a named generic item.

Solution: buy an axe, enchant it with something, and name it "Axe of Whiterun".
