Help refresh my memory about alchemy

Sorry if wrong forum, but seemed appropriate to start here.

I have installed a number of mods, but none of the readmes point to a specific mod re: potion weight.

I'm using a full set of the apprentice alchemy apparatus (morter/pestle, calcinator, retort and alembic). When I mix two ingredients, each weighing say 0.1, and successfully make a potion, the weight of the potion is 1.0 lb. It seems like this behavior is happening with journemyan eqpt and also with a mix of apprentice and master eqpt.

It's starting to bug me because I don't recall it acting this way before. I was used to the weight of the potion being the average of the sum of the weight of the ingredients.

Am I just misremembering it? Current alchemy skill is around 18, I think.

Chances are you using the Code Patch, right?
It has attempted to rebalance how much created potions weigh. (to avoid weightless potions)
- Alchemy weight rewrite. Fixes exploitable potion weight calculations. Prevents potion weight approaching zero if you make several kinds of potion in one go, and stops useless ingredients making potions lighter. Potion weight is now (0.75*total ingredients weight + 0.35) / (0.5 + alembic quality).

If you don't like this, just de-select that option and re-apply the Patch. (everything in the Patch is optional :) )

Thanks Pluto. Will do.

The sad thing is, before posting hereI read its readme and even did a keyword search for "weight" in its readme and didn't find that.
