Help me texture this.

Why is the texture going inside of the Top point instead of the outside? I just made it on Blender, the left is what it looks like untextured, left is textured. I am new to UV Mapping and dont completely get it so can anyone help me figure out what I did wrong?

I'm no Blender whizz, more at home with 3ds max but it looks like the faces in that top section are 'inverted', at least in the textured version of the object. There should be an option to 'flip' selected faces in blender somewhere if this is the case. I'm sure someone will drop by and explain how to do this if this is indeed the issue.

Small bump just for Blender people who haven't seen this.

Choose the backward faces in edit mode, click the space bar, go to Edit, Normals, Flip.
