This may or may not be the easiest thing to explain or teach, I don't know, but I thought it was worth a shot. All tutorials teach is body mods and clothing which isn't what I'm looking for. I've recently started modding so I have a little experience under my belt with scripting/creation kit and whatnot but I've only just begun delving into the 3d modeling aspect of modding to further enhance my mods.

What I wanted to achieve I thought would be an easy start for me but after 5 days of research and attempting to teach myself I've hit a block. I want to do pretty much the same thing as what the mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19169/? does but just the blushing part. But since using that mod would require to use it as a parent I tried remaking the mod myself. After tons of googling I found an easy mostly script free way to achieve this after studying the mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32080/?

So I got that part down for the most part, I can use edialog's mesh to make my character blush just by equipping the new equipment I made with the attached mesh. It's nice but I want my own mesh or an edited version of it because I want the blush to be more red and noticable.

The problem is when I try to make my own mesh it simply does not appear on the character the way edialog's does, I simply don't know how he does it. Why does he have 4 nitristrips blocks? The mod author does not speak English so that isn't an option either. No tutorial goes into something as specific as what this mod does so I'm reaching out for help.

I know our meshes are different but I just want to know what does he do and why he does it that makes it work.
I hope this isn't too difficult to explain for anyone with experience in this.
