Help! When I click play it won't start! : Fallout 4

Hi.

I bought this game today, I am a pc noob so please do everything in detail

So I finshed downloading Fallout 4 and clicked start on Steam when I clicked it did its preporations and then the launch menu came up I clicked play and nothing happened

Then I decide to pin it to my task bar and try, when i do i click it and after clicking play it gives me this error

If you're able to do your own research you may be able to get it to run, but your PC does not come close to meeting the bare minimum requirements to run this game. Shouldn't have bought it.

Yea your error is one you could Google to solve, but your machine would run Fallout like it was powered by hamsters.

If you want to play modern PC games you need a machine that can play them.

This error message is probably related to a missing DirectX library.

Install the DirectX Runtimes.

Choose low settings in your Fallout 4 options menu, and resolution at 1280x720. Lower or Disable shadows quality, disable god rays quality, Ambient occlusion low, and unckeck all five options beneath.

You may accomplish to run the game after all...

If that doesn't work, try 800x600 resolution with Windowed + Borderless. (so, check them both)

I can currently play on ultra settings with minimum lag with the following build, but the motherboard build and processor are out of date. They don't make my processor type anymore, and I need to upgrade to a 4-core with ddr4 memory support when I can afford it.
