ooooookkk this is the problem, when i launch it comes up with the launcher right, but then it just doesnt come up and nothing happens. when i try and launch nexus mod manager is says i dont have fallout 3 ini file. it did say that i didnt have fallout 3 esm. in downloads but i think it is supposed to do that. i do have windows 8.1, nothing special just straight up windows 8.1, and a hp computer

Post your computer specs with a DXDiag, it's possible your computer isn't even capable of running the game.

it also has a amd radeon hd graphics card

hey m48a5, when i get to the point where it talkes about the ini file i cant find anything, all i have in that folder is fallout prefs

That is because the game has to run at least once from the launcher for an .ini file to be generated.

If you follow all the steps outlined up to the .ini edit, you should be able to launch the game. It will most likely freeze, but an .ini would have been generated. You can then make the necessary edit.

M48A5 the problem is that it wont even load the game, it will load up the launcher, when i click play the launcher goes away and nothing happenes

Post a DXDiag and let people see what's on your system.

idfk whats is on my system, all i know is the sticker on the side, it says AMD Quad-Core and a a10-5700 accelerated processor 2tb hard drive, AMD radeon HD 7660D graphics

yes i did go to that thread, i cant run the game at all, it does nothing, there isnt a ini file
