I'm getting CTD's when looting mudcrabs and bartering with the jewelry argonian in Riften. (Madesi?)

Also soul trap spells don't seem to work. I can cast it, but the targets don't seem to get a hit shader and I don't get a soul or message saying I don't have a gem large enough either.

Weird issue. Not seen or heart of that sort of problem. If I had to guess its two different mods causing your problems. Have you tried running a tes edit to see if one of those mods play with soul trap? In theory it should be able to isolate the mod down. (Not tried something like that with a large amount of mods though)
