Help with DLC problem

Post » Fri Oct 01, 2010 1:29 am

Hey guys. I would like to know if Bethesda is putting the DLC's on a disc or code card. I seen them for fallout 3 but i never new how to get them into the game and i actually never bought one. The reason why i am asking this is because i accidentally bought a banned xbox 360 so i can't play xbox live. Also if they do have them will they be released close to the date of them being released on say the Xbox Live marketplace.

A banned 360?
I think they will be put on a disc after a couple of months like they did with the Fallout 3 ones but why not just create a new gamer profile with acces to xbox live?
After that, just go down to the local store and buy xbox live points there, go home, use the redeem code and voila, now you have points.

iirc, If someone got banned from xBL due to microsoft detecting that they modified their console to play pirated games, people have then turned around and tried to unload the used units on Craigslist, etc. Someone buys it, not realizing that they then will not be able to hook up to live. I don't think he can create a new account either, doesn't work that way.

Hm, well then T3hHippie, you'll just have to wait until the GOTY is released which might take a whole another year.

You can still buy the GOTY for Fallout 3 though, it has all the DLC's on it.

And unfortunately, since the topic probably leads to discussion areas we don't allow, I am going to lock it. OP, svcks that you got sort of stung on buying something used, but it would have been hard to guess that it was a modded box. :(
