Help with installing Phinix Natural ENB

Post » Fri Jan 30, 2015 12:07 am

I need help with installing Phinix Natural ENB. I don't have a time or knowledge to solve this myself, I've already fought with these issues for hours. I installed PNENB by following the instructions on the mod's Nexus page. I know I did something wrong, I accidentally edited SkyrimPrefs.ini located in the Skyrim main folder instead of Documents->My Games->Skyrim. "Hardware anti-aliasing is detected" and "bFloatPointRenderTarget isn't set" according to the ENB. Loading times are several times longer than before, the game doesn't look anywhere near as good as I expected and the performance isn't great.

I have Nvidia card and I need to disable anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering and more. I'm not sure how I do that because I have to launch Skyrim via Mod Organizer (do I set these options to Mod Manager or tesv.exe?). And do I have to disable all forms of antialiasing, like "gamma correction"?

Here are my config files, if you want to help:

SkyrimPrefs.ini (D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Skyrim) - why do I have two Skyrim folders? https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=130B665BF39DFD1!6717&authkey=!AFkggGzzXJfAQfk&ithint=file%2Cini

SkyrimPrefs.ini (C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games) https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=130B665BF39DFD1!6747&authkey=!ABR7GXwf7V-saOU&ithint=file%2Cini

enblocal.ini (D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim) https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=130B665BF39DFD1!6748&authkey=!AEtHgA2eDYaG30M&ithint=file%2Cini

Skyrim.INI for just in case: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=130B665BF39DFD1!6749&authkey=!ANgmloo0tmMrujM&ithint=file%2CINI

I'm confused with the config files.

EDIT: I managed to disable antialiasing but I still can't solve "bFloatPointRenderTarget isn't set". Game doesn't look good and stutters. Lightning has an odd "border" that moves with the light source. Screenshot: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=130B665BF39DFD1!6750&authkey=!AIPVbXHGgsipjy8&v=3&ithint=photo%2Cpng

I'm using 'Relighting Skyrim', I read it's the best lightning mod.

Hi

I guess boss adds the second skyrim folder

Since you use mod organizer change ini settings by doing the following:

1. Open MO

2. Click on the Tools icon (looks like a Puzzle)

3. Choose ini editor

4. Go to the skyrimprefs.ini tab and make the changes indicated in the installation guidelines on the Phinix description page.
