Help with real lava

Post » Fri Feb 18, 2011 10:09 pm

Hello,

I want some real red-hot heal-damaging lava for my dungeon but can't find it! I've toggled a ton of options but I only get blue water, which doesn't help me much. Anyone know how to get oblivion plane-like lava? thanks

I think it is a setup in http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/Interior_cells, in Common Data.

Other solution:
Go to upper menu: [World]-[Cells] and duplicate a cell (ie. change its EditorID) which already has lava.

Change the 'Water Type' to 'OblivionLavaTest01'.

I have a question here as well ... is it possible to have a lava "mesh" that acts like lava-water but has finite dimensions and can be used for like placing above the cell's water level (pool on roof?)

Yes. Sort of. You will not get underwater effects with this method though.

You set the water type in the cell (lava for instance) and place a water mesh where you want it.
