Post » Fri Jun 14, 2013 12:57 am

Soo.... Ralenya's story has come to an end. its time for a new character.

I dont know much about the Bosmer. I want to roleplay one of those cannibal Bosmer things.
she will be a sneak archer.

I need help with playing a bosmer, I know how to be an archer.

what do they eat.
how often do they do cannibal stuff.

Also I need a name. (please dont suggest a name generator or previous game names).

Edit: Shes going to be based off my Avatar.

They aren't fervent cannibals. It's ritualistic. They must eat any they kill. It's a responsibility. Nonetheless, you will need namira's ring to accomplish this. Just RP that your Bosmer likes sapient flesh a little too much...

Refrain from harming vegation. Don't ever pick ingredients, you will have to purchase them. And try to avoid conflict with Spriggans. They are guardians of nature.

If you're strictly following the Green Pact, yes. The whole point of it is to keep the Bosmer from changing into animals and monsters. So Lycanthropy would be hypocritical/ant-antithetical.

Yeah, stay away from Nords and their devil worship.

Since you're not in Valenwood, it could be difficult to adequately worship Y'ffre. So Kynareth would be your next bet. Bosmer(even anti-Thalmor) are usually friendly with the Empire.

Other than that, unless you have any other specific questions, I think the rest is up to you.

You don't have to be a cannibal seen as though you are not in Valenwood and obiding by the green pact to please the god Y'ffre. However if your character is still want's to obide by the green pact be my guest.

Your typical bosmer cares not for entering a conflict (civil war) that does not involve their own race, but every bosmer is an individual. I would also think a bosmer would prefer to set up home in warmer climates, so riften/falkreath would make sense.

Well, they aren't peaceful hippies either. You have to hunt animals. Followers of the Green Pact are strict carnivores. It's plants and trees that you want to refrain from harming. Spriggans aren't hostile and they usually warn you when you are 20 -30 feet away. So you'll want to respect and avoid them when you can.

Like Wumpa said, this isn't Valenwood, so you don't have to be a strict follower. Though you could still uphold some of it. Like being a strict carnivore and not harming or eating vegetation.

Mine is a hunter, but every time she kills innocent wildlife, she drops a flower on the carcass as a thanks for the creature's sacrifice. Weird, I know, but it makes me feel better about killing things! LOL

Well, you're deciding against plenty of Bosmer traditions. Joining the stormcloaks, ignoring their cannibal rituals... you might as well forget about the "roleplaying a Bosmer" thing and do the same you would with any other race.

A Bosmer Family is known for growing the best Apples in Tamriel, support Your Kin, unless You really want to be a pure Carnivore. I can not remember the name of the Morrowind Book that did talk about the starving Bosmer that boiled all the leather Armor in a castle but some poisonous Netch Skin and finally decided to sneak out of a Castle and into an Orchard to eat Apples.

Bosmer do have the same Mental disorder as Khajitii concerning property and ownership.

I personally consider the Namira Questline pointless for a Bosmer, Bosmer Funerary Rites do involve eating an Ancestor. I always run My Bosmer through the Quest, but they only nibble on Bosses at the end of Dungeons that were tough opponents.

Like Bradleyh, I was going to suggest only feeding on bosses. Kyne's Token would be a good starter necklace, I think. For a name, look at past NPCs and come up with one that sounds samey. My Bosmer was named Terraendil or some such.

You can still do alchemy and remain true to the Green Pact. http://theskyrimblog.ning.com/profiles/blogs/green-pact-alchemy

Bosmer not eating plants only applies to Valenwood.
