Help with Skyrim Graphics!

Post » Tue Sep 24, 2013 12:10 am

So whenever I try to change my skyrim graphics on the first window that pops up, and I click on OK, it doesn't save?

If you need more detail let me know!

Check the INI files in (My )Documents/(My )Games/Skyrim and make sure they're not set to read-only.

Right-click on the files and click properties. Browse the tabs and option windows to make sure the read-only box isn't checked.

try that:

Delete the Skyrim folder with the .ini and saves ( in C:\users\USERNAME\my documents\my games). Starting Skyrim will recreate this folder.

After that open steam-> library-> right click on skyrim [Properties] -> Local files tab [Verify integrity of game cache...]

i have problems with flickering shadows on the distant mountains when moving, i fixed the lines moving down when looking to the sky by using a bigger resolution. So can i alter the ini. file to fix the mountains?
