I can't find Dermot's ledger.It's not on the table where is should be and neither is the bear in the other room.What happened?

I haven't and the coyotes quest is still in my pipboy.I looked in my data and I don't have any entry about a journal I thought maybe I picked it up since I was at the apartments before.

I had the same problem, when I tried to do that quest. I had completed TCB prior. It has been a while, as I just checked The vault, and it gives no other bugs for the missing Ledg and Bear.
