Seems there is multiple ways the MQ can proceed and end up. Is there a chart or some sort of descriptive article about it?

Why spoil it by knowing what is going to happen? You can make this choice quite late, as you start the 3rd act of the MQ. So creating 4 forks in your save and playing out each main path won't take long.

Basically, you support the Legion or the NCR or House or Yourself with Yesman. Just work the third act for whoever you want to win and let things play out.
