I dont know where else to put this. I'm playing FO3 on pc, and I just got to tranquility lane, and when I sit in the lounger, the white screen pops, then it goes away and I'm stuck there still sitting in the lounger, anyone know what the problem is?

Are you using any mods? I had that same problem when I was using FOOk2.

yeah, im using alot of mods. It happend to me a while ago but i found a way around it, I have no idea what I did though.

Try using http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=637 (or similar utility) to create a Merged Patch. For me, the problem was FOOK2, and they eventually came out with a patch that fixed it up nicely. Make sure all your mods are up to date!

That's all I can think of at the moment.

EDIT: When I had this problem, I got stuck at every "transition" in the game, i.e. the lounger for Operation: Anchorage, the riverboat for Point Lookout, etc. I wonder if thats the case for you as well?
