Henche

I was playing abit of Guild Wars (have played it since it came out, great game I recommend it) and I saw how they have this thing called "heroes" which are like henchmen that you can assist you in adventuring. However, these are'nt any ordinary henchmen as you can actualy tell them what to wear and what skills that take with them! I don't know about you but personally I would love to see that implemented into Skyrim! I think it would be a great way to how a healthy, fun filled multiplayer experience in Skyrim WITHOUT having to make it 'online' (as that would destroy the single player feeling that Bethesda so strongly beleive in). I thought this was a pretty cool idea, it can get abit lonely adventuring by yourself, you know? I think that it would allow the player to think to more carefully when going out on an adventure, also, Skyrim will be far more difficult then Oblivion (what with a load of dragons) so I think even the dovahkiin needs all the help he/she can get! Ofcourse this is just an idea, feel free to agree or disagree completly :) Obviously this should just be an option so that everybody is happy! :D

Todd howard said in an interview that there may be companions who you can take along with you. as someone who plans on playing a Conan inspired barbarian i hope they let you bring a whole contingent of soldiers with you or at least some wenches :P

Edited for spelling mistake

Prior to the game informer podcast just about every npc could follow you but thats not the case now. Todd did say he hopes to aim at a large number.

I hope so. Though I'd like some of the companions to have some sort of backstory.
