» Tue Sep 06, 2011 9:46 pm When I was in my teens I worked for my Dad ( Haden). He was a merchant king in Fort Frostmouth. Usually getting lots of goods from the Imperial merchants who lived there. My job was to go to these merchants and tell them that their rent was due tomorrow. These merchants usually always liked me. If they liked me because of my father or if they liked me because of my personality, that's a whole other story. But the merchant's and I could talk forever if we wanted to. My Dad got mad at me though if I wasn't home for dinner that evening.. and well he knew where to find me, at least.
While on a walk with my dad (I'm 65) we came across a group of bandits who did not take kindly to our presence. One of them seemed to have recognized my dad. "Hey guys, it's that merchant who wouldn't trade our goods". He pulled out a dagger out of its sheath just below his belt. His buddies also pulled their weaponry, one had a shortsword the other had dagger as well. " I' am going to slit that nice throat of yours old man" the bandit licked his lips after he spoke. " Xavi run to the house it's safe". My dad had never seemed so worried about me before, but I couldn't just leave him here with three sickos in the middle of the forest. I pulled the knife that my dad had given me and held it at the bandits, taunting them to come and hurt us. All three of them laughed hysterically and couldn't stop, then the leader said laughing in between.
" Stop it kid... you're killing me. What's your name". " If it's killing you then I'll just keep cracking jokes. And so you know the name of your 'killer' it's Xavi" Well
