Here's a bone for all your Morrowind fans out there...

...or at least those who really dug the Morrowind lore.

Michael Kirkbride recently posted this on the Imperial Library:

"Maybe I shouldn't say this for fear of being All Authorative and [censored], but, guys, Skyrim is seriously in good hands. It's a return to form that is both the best of Morrowind and the best of Oblivion.

Yeah, I wrote that last part. *I* did.

We're going back to Tamriel, people. Show some hope."

For those of you that don't know, MK is the guy who wrote a big part of the story and lore for Morrowind, the sort of stuff which was missed by many when Oblivion rolled around. I know this tid-bit isn't cause for huge excitement, but at least it gives a little hope

This could easily be exaggeration, but yay nonetheless.

I hate to embarrass you like this but the person with the account called "Michael Kirkbride" is NOT the actual Michael Kirkbride.

So, yeah.

Well, if MK says it's good then it's good in my books.

Edit* @Antibody seriously? That would be like me making a account under "Todd Howard" and posting. Not cool. <_<

Pretty cool. When he's not confounding me with his writings, he's giving me hope for SR

Actually makes me glad to touch upon Morrowind instead of shun it out completely, Skyrim is the sequel to Oblivion and yet I hoped the game would have some familiarity to Morrowind. :)

I'm not saying the actual game will combine the previous two, just glad to see it reflect of the two.

Has he wrote for Skyrim? I think I remember he did the writing on KotN even though he was no longer with Bethesda.

I'm pretty sure this is not correct. But either way, we don't allow discussions from other forums to be brought here unless it's like maybe....twitter when it's someone like Pete. :P

If MK want's to say something here, he is free to do so since he is a member.
