Here's an easy (development wise) suggestion to curb hacking

Unaimed arrow shots fly in to one hit kill me from across the map, recoilless crosshairs jump perfectly from my head to a teammate's before my body has even dropped with absurd acceleration and precision, and people appear to teleport 3x faster than I can sprint. I have yet to play a single multiplayer game where I can say I was on a level playing field, with talent and weapon unlocks being the only advantages the other players have.

Accordingly, either the cheating is dealt with, I'll find and use an autoaim hack myself to level the playing field, or I just won't play. I have my doubts that the first one will come before one of the latter. I don't have the time or desire to record usernames and run video recording software with which to "submit a PM with evidence".

However, I feel that there is a brilliant and QUICK solution to this: after watching the kill cam, allow players to press a button (F3 or something, up to 10 seconds after the kill) if they suspect cheating. At first, YOU DON'T EVEN NEED TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. Just allow me to feel like I'm not powerless in the situation, and give me a voice with which to say "BULLSH*T".

Now obviously, one suspected cheat shouldn't do much; nor should the suspected cheat count alone be used to punish a player. Nor should the total report count; heavy players will likely have a higher number than light players.

However, some ratio of 'suspected cheat kills' to 'kills' could be publicly part of their profile, and some servers could require a minimum to play on their servers; so cheaters COULD STILL PLAY; on cheat-allowing servers. Those of us that want to be on a level playing field could choose servers that require a specifically low ratio, and the world would be a much happier place.

It's not quite solving world hunger, but would make Crysis 3 MP more playable.

Please take this idea into consideration for the next patch.

Are we placing bets that the first one has already come true?

I know I get hate mail for this, but 95% of games I play in on the America and Asia I do not run into people that are 'without a doubt' cheating. More occasionally recently that there are some I suspect but more often than not I can beat them by changing my loadout, which probably means they are legit. The game has more people abusing broken mechanics than cheating to be honest.

The problem is that a great deal of players have no idea how to tell whether someone is cheat or not. In C2 I even posted a giant tutorial, which I got hate from the people that were cheating... and hate from players that said 'why bother trying to find out who is cheating or not, I think everyone is'.

The killcam is consistently buggy, its pretty damn easy to work out what the killcam issues are, when its a lag issues, and when the probability of a person cheating is rising. However you probably don't want to hear that, and will probably give the response "I am cheating and people didn't notice, therefore everyone is cheating". Most people have a hard time telling who is legit and who isn't, and have emotional reasons to suspect 'everyone' is cheating.

The bow is so BS sometimes legitimately that even I thought more people were cheating until I tested the bow and found how bs it is, and sometimes you don't need to even aim properly.
