I installed 1.4 for Skyrim on my PS3 and glorious stability! It seems as if they have cracked the egg as regards to the particular technical challenge that the PS3 has with their games, and as good as my Skyrim runs now, my first thought was "I wonder if these fixes will work on New Vegas."

I was able to finish the game when it was relatively new with only a dozen or so system crashes, but the DLC has made my game less stable. I suppose it's a pipe dream at this point, but New Vegas is in my view, the best written and most engrossing game I've played in the last 10 years (since Morrowind and Baldurs Gate II), so one can dream, right?

One can dream, but it has been stated that we'll be getting no more patches or fixes for New Vegas.

If you don't mind me asking, how and where do I email my save to them so it can be fixed? My Ultimate Edition disc won't recognize my saved games.

Saves cant be fixed. Fallout takes alot of RAM of your PS3. PC has no issues of this. nether dose Xbox 360. PS3 ram is split have memory and half Graphics. Since bodys, ashpiles and goopiles dont go away it racks up on your save. even little things like Pencils. Bethesda had a similar issue with Fallout 3 and Skyrim. Bethesda and Obsidian never learned how to program a game that big on a PS3. Look at Final Fantasy 13 a RPG and PS3 had no issues with the game you could play it for hours. I called sony the other day. They told me that i should restore my system. My bros PS3 dose the same thing. Lag issues. 1 frame per second. they abandoned there game for the PS3 port. Bethesda or Obsidian are most likely not looking on this forum anymore. 16 times i contacted Bethesda and Sony. thats when they asked me for my save. i sent it to them and they replayed with " Thanks Adam" I love Fallout. Im going to have to buy a PC that can handle fallout or a Xbox 360 I cant handle the lag.

Bethesda and Obsidian New Vegas is a amazing game. And i love the game. its just the PS3 port is the worst and in need of tuning.
