and why does everybody still speak modern english in fallout games , most og us would have problems understanding english as spoleken 100 years ago most would not even understand english spolen 200 years ago

Pure expediency. The player needs to understand what's going on. Plus, speculating on what the English language might evolve into in 200 years time, while an interesting thought experiment, is a lot of work for developers.

This should have been the thread ender.

I think the two biggest reasons are: A. Large area, little difference in the area except for the clubhouse, and 200+ years of wear and tear after a nuclear war would make it unrecognizable. B. Golf is more of an international sport which has origins in Europe. Baseball and football though are U.S. sports, and while based on older sports from Europe and elsewhere, they're still associated with the U.S. because they got started here.

Curling? Competitive Fishing?
