Brink started out fun. I really wanted to enjoy a FPS that got away from sniping, and it was fun for a while. Now it is either boring or frustrating whenever I log on.

1. Friendly bots are utterly stupid. I am okay with having to complete the objectives myself, but the bots are absolutely useless. I have literally seen a friendly bot standing inthe middle of the road, three streets away from the fighting. He was doing nothing except looking at the ground.
2. The limited number of maps and play styles/objectives means the game is stale.
3. There is a radical inconsistency in damage output. I can consistently be killed by two shots (even less at times) while it is almost impossible for me to kill anyone in less than six.
4. Sniping has become a part of the game, which you claimed it wouldn't.
5. SMART movement isn't that smart at times (forces me to run in directions or climb over things I don't want to). Of course it also gives temporary invulnerability to someone who runs/slides/jumps straight in front of a machine gun. This is just a new form of rabbiting, which got old and annoying years ago.

All in all I am tired of this game. I hope others continue to enjoy, but it is long past being enjoyable for me.
