Running away for getting called out on their bs. This was after about an hour if him ranting about how Serosi can do everything and everyone in the RP agrees with him and how the character is bs...=/
"It doesn't help that he's got a Psijic-level understanding of magic, is basically the sneakiest bastard in the Morag Tong, and can fight like an Ansei to boot. He simply doesn't have any weaknesses"
No where is it written he has a "Psijic level understanding of magic." This is purely made up. Show proof. As for "sneakiest of the Morag Tong" what does that even mean? Show proof. Actually back up this argument wooly. "Can fight like an ansei." Well no he can't. He doesn't have a shehai. So everything stated here is an exaggeration.
He's never been able to not do anything magical. Doesn't matter what he is, he can do everything in the stuff I've read in SOS, in the High Rock stuff, and in this RP. He didn't lose against the Ansei he fought, did he? He fought the damn HoonDing and didn't get killed.
From Solidor:
"Serosi has limitations? I'm not sure to be honest. Every time i've seen him he's been a brick wall of defence coupled with a rabies infested sharks mouth of an offence and the gymnastic abilities of a spider monkey. I'm not sure he's every even suffered anything more than a minor injury save for maybe losing his memory for a while."
Which does not state anything about Serosi "having every skill" as you told me in personal chat.
Lol, game mechanics. He can kill people with blades, a bow, that chain thing (apparently he was trained by the Tong in all of them), and has magic abilities that blow people away, along with being a trained Morag Tong assassin from birth, ALONG with being the son of TWO half vampires.
From wooly:
"I think Serosi, to an extent (in agreement with what Solidor said) has been through a lot without having his ass kicked or suffering emotional tragedies."
He actually hasn't gone through much at all. Out of all the main characters he probably has the lowest post count by far. As for emotional tragedies actually he did have a betrayal issue with Anrel and pretty much having the people who thought was his family, place "the rules" above him. As for 'ass kicking' he hasn't really been in many fights aside from general "shoot em up" lackies with the exception of Hauron...which was a draw.
And does any of this effect him? Hell no. You don't see any "struggle" in his posts. Go read them.
"He killed Haroun's father, destroyed a sanctuary in Cheydinhall, threw giant jars filled with liquid hundreds of yards (in a part of a RP we did not hold cannon), along with other things I haven't mentioned/don't know about."
Hauron's father, Thassad, died because story said "oh hey do some attack to kill Thassad, no one is posting for him." So please don't use this as an argument because there is none. Destroying the sanctuary in Cheydinhal makes Serosi guilty of starting a fire, that's all. Using a spell to throw some jars of oil against an army of Thu'um Nords is hardly OP.
Alright, so throwing a giant jar 700 meters isn't uber? Ok. I'll try that with Arethan next time. And he still killed the King of Hammerfell. Someone else could've done it. Starting a fire? He killed every member of the brotherhood in the sanctuary - fact.
"After all that, he somehow ended up with a bunch of nomads who worship him, whom, imo, would hate the guy as much as the Redguards do (but that's just me). "
First off I don't know exactly where you get off in passing judgement in how the Altai would treat an outsider. You have a naive and rigid comprehension of race relations. Secondly it is a painfully hypocritical argument to bring up especially when you yourself have a Dunmer character among Redguards who are nomads as well. Lastly, nobody "worships" Serosi.
They are all cheering for him in your post. The Raga nomads hate city dwellers. The Altai should too, considering he is one.
Has any of this been portrayed in the RP? No. He hasn't suffered one bit. And you avoided the magicka pool thing.
"With Arethan, I understand he's also powerful, along with the lich and some other characters. I try to limit Arethan in some instances, to where he doesn't have good restorative ability, he knows nothing of stealth, and combat isn't his primary thing."
Serosi has no restorative abilities either. And how is it a High Ordinator HER HAND doesn't have "combat as a primary thing?" That's non sense.

"It just seems he's already genetically altered with two half vampire parents, so he gets all the benefits of those while facing none of the displeasure and disadvantage that come from being vampiric."
His weaknesses are social and physical. He is weakened by sunlight and i've often alluded to that time and time again. As for the social weaknesses his lineage doesn't make him all too popular in the underground due to his father.
You've never mentioned this, at all. Nor has the effect been played in any RP you've participated in since the timeline came into being.
Last time I checked, Nightblades in Morrowind couldn't kill the Kings of entire provinces and weren't children of two half vampires.
"It just seems to me the guy has no weakness, that he always finds his way around everything. He's not that old either. The guy's magical pool seems endless."
Right which is why he's exiled from his country, because he found his way around everything. Which is why his spell backfired frying his memory, because he found his way around everything. Which is why he was taken prisoner by the Ayuub nomads, because he finds his way around everything. Which is why Varulae was killed by Elysana, because he found his way around everything.

"He's a beast at stealth, combat, AND magic."
You keep using these terms, stealth, combat and magic. He's skill set is not too different than a Nightblade in Morrowind. Why you keep bringing up "combat" is beyond me as he has pretty much none of that skill set. And when I bring this up you say "but this isn't about game mechanics, he fights" Well duh, what do you want him to do be a stealthy magic flower picker? So the issue is that he uses stealth and magic in situations of war or what?

Arethan can't go all berserk with a chain weapon (whatever the hell it is), a bow, and a sword. He can only do it with magic - which Serosi can also do it with.
"He can hold his own with a sword, but he isn't an expert on it like Serosi."
Where is Serosi a sword expert?
Where is Serosi a sword expert?
Trained by the Tong from birth much???
"He can't kill 15 people with a sword, stealth, and magic all separately like Serosi can."
Where did he kill 15 people?
Where did he kill 15 people?
He killed about a dozen raiders in the RP. He's killed the King of Hammerfell, along with numerous other guys.
"He can simply only obtain that massive ability with his main focus: magic. Keep in mind Arethan is also 250 years old, probably 2 to 3 times older than Serosi, and has a better magicka ability along with a larger magic pool, along with the same combat ability NOT able to kill Serosi outright, but to compete and keep himself alive."
That's purely your conjecture unbacked by anything.

How so? You can't defend it? Lol.
"Therefore, the only thing that can beat Serosi's ass is a mage who is completely focused on magic, with no stupid magical stuff coming out of Serosi's butt. This is what I intend to have Arethan do, because the guy deserves it, after all. You wonder why Daedra hate the guy? He [censored]s in everybody's [censored] and never gets hurt. Everybody hates him."
There is "no thing" that can hurt anyone. Characters are individuals, not trading cards. Try to keep that in mind. And the only person that "hates" a ficticious character seems to be you and your obsession. Other people have given proper criticism of Serosi as a literary character but you seem to show pure obsessive pillow bittered tears for someone that doesn't even exist. I await you to source every single claim you have made or drop the constant unfounded berations.

I don't hate him. I hate his power level and the way you play him. Don't hate the player. Hate the game.
