Hermaeus Mora in FO4?

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 5:14 pm

My favorite character in Skyrim, would be nice to have him as an easter egg or a reference to him.

Say he's after some technology that BOS stored up to add to his library back in TES universe.

Otherwise Serana may be a good second choice.

It'd bee funny seeing ol' herma mora in a random library looking at pre-war books for some long lost secret. The PC opens a very hard lock and you see every so briefly "a mass of tentacles and eyes" suddenly drop books and poof out of exsistance, leaving the character saying "yup, need to get my radiation poison checked again, I'm seeing things" lmao

I'd rather see Hermaeus Moira Brown.

...no?

sorry but to have mora actually appear... just no

just too big a gap that shouldn't be crossed with the franchises

a tes street sign is one thing, but one of the tes gods actually showing up in the world not as an easter egg on a poster, but truly be there looking for something? definitely no

i mean there's gonna be some lovecraftian elements, beth seems real into that, and mora is definitely heavily inspired by that

but no he himself won't and should not appear in the fo universe, sorry

i think it's just too much of a push into another franchise

an easteregg reference? sure maybe a kid drawing of a tentacley eye beast named morgra or something, but not mora just hanging outthere as himself in another franchise

that'd go beyond a little fun hint into wtf territory for me

Yes! Maybe not as a mass of tentacles and s/he/it should never introduce itself as Hermaeus Mora but maybe just meeting someone in the Wasteland and noticing something a bit off about them. Or finding someone in an abandoned library acting a bit queer, speaking weirdly, having weird motives etc. It'd be fun.

I mean, maybe as like, a character in one of those pip-boy video games that we saw. Maybe some super-simplified arcade-RPG thing that features a floating eye with tentacles as the villain? Or even a Movie Poster in downtown boston with Hermaeous Mora on it with a caption saying "Dare you enter Apocrypha?!".

But aside from some small thing like that, no Elder Scrolls characters should appear in Fallout.

As long as I can sell him pre-war books. The Brotherhood just doesn't pay enough.

No. Just no. TES and Fallout need to be kept apart.

Only as a subtle easter-egg. Like we stumble upon a pre-War book titled, 'The Elder Scrolls II: The Wrath of Hermaeus Mora'. And reading it gives us a +1 intelligence. Or maybe someone has an idea of a fantasy series and it involves this weird mess of tentacles and eyes in some way. Just something subtle; we don't need him to physically appear in a game series about surviving in the 1950s idea of a post-atomic war wasteland.

I voted no.

My exception to that would be nameless abomination of tentacles coming out of a pool of water in some cave. ...or maybe call it "HiM". Put it in the last DLC and maybe let him ...sorry "HiM", reset your skills as desired.

Why an easter egg, why not an appearence that link the two universes? Nothing can make a bethesda fallout worst that it already is, so you can put all the ugly things you wnat in it. Mora FTW!

An easter egg of some kind is fine but not an actual NPC

Maybe a unique piece of loot that names something from TES. Something like Mehrunes Dagon Doll or an Argonian skin belt. Maybe a random poster in a demolished houses bedroom with the TES symbol... nothing more

I kind of agree. The player should make the connection and not have it made for them.

...a piece of paper with a black hand print with the words "We know." ...or maybe "You know".

...Curved. Rippers. [...think that is in the game]

...You could have NPCs named "Dover Kin" since Dover is close to Boston ...or a NPC whose name is Dover and that would be his/her NPC relatives.
