I find it kinda hard for a single guy to do each and every single quest available in the game with a Daedra invasion in the process... yes, you can still complete ALL THE QUESTS for GAMING PURPOSES.. but you think the hero of kvatch being as holy as Bethesda make him sound would even dare to join the Dark Brotherhood? I dont think so.
Now, imagine that the hero of Kvatch joins the Fighters Guild and became the top Fighter, you think he would also Join the DarkBrotherhood, The Thieves Guild and Mages Guild all at the same time? i thought Thieves were forbidden to Kill... as i thought Mages were forbidden to Steal... dont Fighters Guild pretty much Despide the Weak Mages Guild? what about the Nine Divines arent they the forces of Good, the ones who choose the Hero of Kvatch to stop the Oblivion invasion? would they allow such a low thing as allow THEIR HERO to Join the Dark Brotherhood or becoming the Daedra Prince Sheogorath? I dont think so, now you see the inconsistencies? and again, for gaming purposes Obviously YOU CAN.
I can even dare to think that there were Multiple Heros in Oblivion, could be and here is why... if the Hero of Kvatch was the same hero to stop Umaril, why is it not written about it in the Knights of the Nine Book in Skyrim? its clear someone rebuild the Knights of the Nine, but it never states it was the hero of Kvatch, it could have been the same for each and every single DLC that Bethesda Released.
Now for those saying that New Sheogorath claims to have been there... OF COURSE! he is a Daedra Prince! he can be anywhere at any given time! dosent he? and he never claims to have stand side by side to Martin, he only says he was present at those times... makes sense, he was infact councious at that given time and as his Daedra power could just have watched what happened the same way he watched and talked to the Dunmer who goes nuts when you first approached the "Strange Door".
A good example is Todd the... i mean "Maiq the Liar", we dont know if he is the exact same Maiq or just a descendant of the previous games Maiq, he dosent even remember his childhood! for all i know Maiq could be Sheogorath in Disguise!
And finally, I asked Gstaff about this a while back and he pretty much said not to trust what he says:

Hey there
Thanks for the note. I'll remind you that Sheogorath can be a bit odd one. As you'll see on the wiki page here, many of his responses are a little whacky.

And unless Bethesda confirms it, we cant Confirm nor Deny New Sheogorath is in fact the Hero of Kvatch... the truth may never be known, so its a matter of personal belief... i belive he isnt, some belive it is... and i think its valid to say each of the theories could be real, but unless Bethesda confirms it... you got to stop saying "OMG ITS HIM ITS HIM!" and i think the same we could say about my theory, they are both out there floating in the air.
