Hero of the Battlespire - Name

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 3:54 pm

In Battlespire, the player had to rescue their fellow apprentice. Based on the character's gender, the companion was either called Vatasha Trenelle (for males) or Josian Kaid (for females).

What I was wondering was, does this mean that "lore-wise" the Hero's name was the opposite? So that if (theoretically) the Hero was canonically male, his name would be Josian? Or is it like most of the other heroes, in that the name remains 'unknown'.

As with all TES heroes, the identity is anonymous. The only canon characters are those you want to be canon. Take for example me, I have a criminally insane, amoral, and slave owning Telvanni argonian for Morrowind as my canon Morrowind character, and a follower of Tzeentch breton in Oblivion as my OB canon character.

The only things that are definite is the MQ, what the devs say, and whatever was mentioned in the books. But even then, the latter is murky.

So, if your character in Battlespire was a female altmer named Smelly Farts, and was INCREDIBLY sarcastic and an overall ass, then that's your own canon. TES is open like that, which is really nice.
