[Rel] Heroes of Cyrodiil Thread II

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 5:08 am

So if we get models all set and the system on how to do it, u'll help us with the id like to call "Heroes of Cyrodiil Armor"?

We'll by texture I mean more retextures or textures where I can tell what parts of the model are in place. I'm not sure how modeling for oblivion works if you can export a .dds with the defined areas of the armour I'd have a much easier time.

If you want an example of my some of texturing you can look at the golden lamellar armour, tribal cuirasses and lizard skin boots in the Elsweyr mod. (The latest version)

I would be willing to try do an armour mod with you but I think it'd be better of as a separate mod from Heroes of Cyrodiil.

Just downloaded this mod, amazing! I would love to add my character to this fine list of other heroes.

Race:
Dark Elf

Name:
Mephisto

Age:
Middle Aged

Level: 17

Class:
Customized Warrior

Attributes:
Strength
Endurance

Skills:
Blade
Block
Blunt
Heavy Armor
Athletics
Marksman
Armorer

Gear: Mephisto is sporting full Blackwood Company armor(which he got off of his fallen enemies as he is high up in the Fighter's Guild) with a Black hood as the headgear. His weapon is non other than Umbra, because he prefers chopping his foes in half with the mighty blade.

Location: Either exploring Cyrodil hunting baddies, or in the Imperial City Market District showing off his armor and sword.

-Mephisto is an immigrant warrior who hails from Khuul, Morrowind. His past is unknown, however for sure a tragedy as his semi-dark nature shows how unrelenting towards his enemies he can be. He now wanders the landscape slaying bandits, foul creatures, and the like. If you attack him, you are hoping for either his death or yours, as he will never stop one enraged. He is a Guardian of the Fighter's Guild, and has been working his way up the ranks for years, but is now content at Guardian Rank.

Thanks in advance if you happen to added him in future releases!

I wish i could download the mod but unfortunatley the verizon card has 5gb and thats about 1 gb i believe? am i wrong? anyway, i can see how he wouldnt want to continue on the H.O.C. mod just leaving it at that keeps it at its purpose. So it be in best interest to create a new mod for the purpose of these armors that we might have a change at creating. Any suggestions? Maybe we can get a skilled person whos good at this to help us out? Plus he could help with ideas if we wanted it, its a group project lets hear ideas :P

Just throwing my two cents in. Great mod, I've had hours of fun searching for these characters.

P.S. There was a slight problem with Ta'savar skeleton in Package 4, but I was able to fix it on my own game. Aside from that I've encountered no other bugs.

I believe I fixed the skeleton for him and uploaded it along with the final package. Be sure you're using the patches that came with the final pack.

Haha I know someone would say that. I've been working on a house mod, Xendlewebe. I'm actually done but I need get some screenshots to go along with the release first. It's actually been one of my most challenging mods being my first quest, first dialogging, first time scratch building path grids (My CS kept crashing when I tried to auto-generate), and my most complex scripted spell.

Also quite funny is how long it took me to figure out how to get the jester to juggle. I spent almost half a day on that. :P

And ya I can understand that, perhaps you could ask around and she if someone can show you an easier modeling program. I've heard nifscope is trickier.

I was wandering around, minding my own level one business when Likes-The-Dark charged out at me. I was completely outclassed. I tried to run.

It was totally awesome, a great mod!

I have to say for anybody that is not sure if they should get this or not I say get it. I have added it to my game and it is a blast walking around seeing these Heroes in the game. It is also fun to just have somebody attack out of nowhere. Granted my companions usually can rock some house if I need the help. This is an awesome job that was done. Thankfully though I am high level so I should not get owned at all.

I know I'm at the back, and have already inquired once as to my hero's stats, but I'm curious.

Sorry-I need help :). Mental help. :)

Anyway, did you ever get any info on extracting faces from savegames? I been looking for the Fallout 3 version, but no luck. Not to mention my project has been halted for a time until I get my game to work.....just thought you might want to know the state your "sister/borther/undeterminable sibling" mod.

If you do play Fallout 3, I want to get your character at the top of my list :).

Sorry for the long response time I thought I had replied to this. :P I can't remember your character exactly but if you can give me the name I can remember.

I did play Fallout 3 but I grew tired of having to fix a new problem every other day. My character was named Chad, I can't remember his exact stats but they were quite balanced with a fairly high charisma and perception and above average agility. He's basically the defined face that on of the raider presets has, and he always has a huge pink mohawk. Like a powder pink not hot pink. Yes I added my Oblivion version of him this mod too. :P

I have uploaded a patch to TES Nexus with all of the files up to date. I had forgot to package in the update for pack three to fix the crazy tails. Now it's fixed.

Well the reason I stopped is that there are now 60 characters. That's enough to make a decent sized city. I don't want it seem like the whole world is heroic. :P You might have a chance to get a character in whenever I start on the one for SI. I'll only add 20 characters to SI though. I will likely start taking characters after I'm finished with Anvil for City Beautification.

Yeah, too many heroes isn't particulary a good idea :D

Its ok, the specific character of mine cannot be in SI anyway. (Neither my PC)
