Hew's Bane in ESO

So apparently, ESO's Thieves Guild DLC introduces Hew's Bane as a new zone. Judging by the map shown in the latest video "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hg-OlNgtS1M", the region is quite mountainous, with steep cliffs, but also lush forests. Abah's Landing itself, judging by the DLC, is a very large city to say the least and is a "free port". Hew's Bane is also home to the region of Khefrem and likely the Khefrem Academy of Yokudan Heritage. Abah's Landing was also apparently one of the first landfalls of the Ra Gada, and it shows. Easily defensible, it makes one wonder why there would be no signs of it in the Third Era, or even the late Second Era?

I suppose it would depend on the nature of Gilane. It was apparently in existence at the time of ESO, though, judging by its location, I can hardly imagine it being larger or more powerful than the free port of Abah's Landing. Even if just an invention of ESO, I think Abah's Landing could be somehow retconned into the lore. Perhaps Cephorus' "kingdom of Gilane" was headquartered in Abah's Landing, and the Gilane located further up north on the neck of the peninsula is a palatial fortress of some kind? Some kind of "Castle Cephorus" from which one could rule over a city, infamous for piracy and thievery? I'm interested in your thoughts.

I'm still hoping maybe there's a chance we'll see some volcanic activity in the area in future iterations. I do really like how Abah's landing is designed. It reminds me of how I always thought of Rihad as looking. It's very... rooftoppy.

I also really like the dungeon architecture shown so far. I honestly wouldn't mind if that architectural style were expanded on in TES VI, if it is in Hammerfell.

Other than that, I'm pretty impressed by what it looks like overall.
