I hope they have more types of dogs than just the Wolfhound. Something more husky like maybe or even better... Golden Retriever mixed with Pomeranian Mixed with Chihuahua mixed with another golden retriever!!! That would be a silly looking dog.

Now a direct question; why doesn't it look like an Irish Wolfhound to you? You didn't elaborate on your statement and I am interested to hear your explanation.

Terribly sorry. Didn't quite have time to elaborate further (not that I have time now either), and I didn't expect the Spanish inquisition to hunt me down.

Anyway, I just don't find it that similar. It looks like a lot of dogs I've seen before (dog's that I'm quite certain weren't Irish wolfhounds), and I just don't see anything that particularily points at it being an Irish wolfhound.

Not sure how to put it, but it just doesn't quite... click, so to speak.
It's just that you made it sound like you knew what kind of dog it was, despite only finding certain similarities. It's not even certain that it is an Earth-breed dog at all.

I just thought this was cool. I don't expect to blow anyone's mind with this revelation. I just think wolfhounds are cool.

The dogs themselves aren't that cool, imo - They're just too ... big.
- But the feature and it's possible gameplay-relevance is cool, I would agree.
