Why do most of the user's on this forum hate fallout NV so much? i dont get it, if you hate it so much stop coming on this forum and go back too fallout 3. I love all fallout games so i dont hate fallout 3. although i do prefer fallout NV and i dont go around saying STOP PLAYING FALLOUT 3 YOU IDIOT! its getting anoying. So i would like too see why you people hate it so much, i meen whats soo bad abot it? sorry for bad english its 2nd language. i do know its buggy but fallout 3 crashes as well, some poeple dont like the wild west-esc setting but that is personal preferance so thats not valid argument. anyway this is my first post so i would like too say hi.

Hi. Seeing as "most" of us apparently hate Vegas, don't you think there might have already been a few Versus threads and we don't need a new one? Your intentions might be good but IMO you're just adding unnecessary fuel to the fire.

For me, it was the bugs mostly. Fallout 3 was nowhere as bad as this game was. Also, I know I was a courier, but most of the game was made up of boring fetch quests. I could go on about eveything I disliked, but I will say that I don't hate it. I just expected a lot more after playing one of the best games of all time. I love the gameplay so much though, I think they really improved Fallout 3 as far as that goes. But for me, I just liked Fallout 3 a lot more. That's just how I feel.

Those that do tend not to stick around, understandably.

While I like FO3 as a game on it's own merits I do loathe it as a Fallout game.
Still, I don't exactly go over to the FO3 forums and complain about it.
That I do in Series or Universe. :wink_smile:

I don't hate new vegas, I hate its glitches though and I have to play in windowed mode to avoid sound glitches.

I love NV, many people dislike the problems it has, but i dont hold it against the game, good game let down by a bad engine and short development time.

Well maybe the people who love it are too busy playing it to come here and express their opinions. As such we are left only with the haters.

The only thing that is wrong with New Vegas is the bugs and Caesars Legion getting treated like poo poo. Other than that the game is a masterpiece.

Its the internet the biggest complainer's database known to man, if you like something you are less likely to express an opinion about it, if you hate something you want the world to know how much you hate it.

Uh, they hate it? News to me. I love it personally. I think it is a very wonderful game and has provided me with a lot of entertainment so far.

I don t hate it at all............. Fo3 and nv are the best overall games I ve played in a good long time.

There are things in nv that will make Bethesdas fo better.

My agenda it to have them more like fo3 overall, while taking some of the great things from fo nv and adding them to Bethesdas fo.

Devs look at these boards. Devs post on these boards, so the more we all make our opinions know either way the better fo4 will be overall.

I am often forced to defend fo3.......... To do this sometimes I have to pointout what I feel are short comings in fo nv.

I in no shape or form hate fo nv, it is one of the better games out there. I just don t like it as much as fo3 as an overall game.

Most people on here have agendas....... I am no different.

Its all about molding new fo into the best series of games in the world without leaving the original purpose of the series totally in the dust.

I prefer FO3, but I'm not hating on New Vegas, it's a good game (just not AS good). I have only had one bug, and that was solved 2 patches ago. My main beef with New Vegas is... I've done everything. Four times. I'm bored. I want to extend it, to keep playing! (afterall, it's going to be some years before we see FO4).

after I've played all the DLC? I'll go back and play FO3 again. Just to keep me going (I don't feel the same drive to keep playing New Vegas, it's pretty boring once you've done everything)

I just feel so spiteful toward Obsidian. If FNV is a better experience than FO3 then it's a shame I can't witness it. When people say after after the patch that less crashing and freezing is a 'major improvement' then this junk is broken.

I love New Vegas! Its one of my favorite games, as for complaining about the bugs? Well, put it this way, if I actually hated the game and it had bugs I would of taken it back

People is not all of us, some people here dont have those issues, not like Fallout 3 was the safe heaven in pre patch anyway

As for Obsidian, both companies shares the responsibilties

I haven't played much but I enjoy the game a lot. I don't enjoy the fact I can't walk in a straight line without slowing to a walking pace as I watch my character slide across the wasteland. You'd think they could have got the walking right..
