i dont hate any race in TES

Their delusional, low brow condescension betrays their truly infantile worldview. They are the scum that is mistaken for soap. They are the child that cries for attention. Their putrid self doubt is prevalent in almost every remark they make.

They are the ultimate wannabes, constantly vying for acceptance without anything to offer except misplaced criticism.

I hate them because they are the weakest race in my opinion to play as. Keep in mind I am a strict warrior class style player, so while I will tinker around with magic and stealth those come second to my warrior abilities, every time. Them being snobs has little to do with it, because if everyone was nice, that wouldnt be realistic or fun. Also the fact that they are Elves is something I dislike aboot them but I dont hate them for it. I dislike playing as Elves because they are always depicted as being this beautiful, and almighty race and I would rather play the underdog. Dark Elves and Orcs are the exception for obvious reasons. So basically what I am saying is I hate them because They are a poor race to play a warrior with where as with all the others it is manageable.

Lol, for the first time since I have been playing TES games, starting in 1994, I will create an Altmer, a female.

I liked the presets, and decided it was time to give Altmer a try.

I am sure there will be way to compensate for their weakness to magic. Against non magic enemies, they are quite formidable.

I intend to have fun with this one.

I played as one in Oblivion. Casting magic was a nice change from the usual hack and slash. But I will always be a nordperial at heart.

Sure if you want to measure things like that.
But we are also the only race that didnt need a living god to stand up to the Septim Empire, and a truce was only necessary when they sent Walking Brass upon us.

As another side note; all the notable Altmer I encountered in Oblivion were either highly irresponsible (Henantier) or just plain evil bastards. (Seridur, Mankar Camoran ect.)

I actually tried playing one in Oblivion. He barely survived the first dungeon and without any loot as well. Worthless.

I was trying to decide what race to pick for my mage, in OB. She would be a pure mage, purely evil. It seemed fitting for her to be an Altmer. They are descendants of Ayleids. You can't get much more evil than that. So, hell yea! Kick ass! Enslave the world! Kill 'em all! And all that jazz. I love those guys.

I actually tried making one once. I spent at least an hour in character creation trying to get him to look like less of an annoying, ugly snob. Results? Well I've still never played a High Elf.
