Well, I'm gonna go back into oblivion now and say sorry to all of the high elves i killed because of him.....

Sounds like a race rife with failure. They can't even venture far beyond their own tiny land for fear of the Sload.

Well, actually, the Aldmeri Dominion is doing quite nice these days.
Thalmor agents as far north as Skyrim.

At Senor Cinco:
Altmer are not descendant from Ayleid, though possibly goblins could be.

That would be the real blunder here. The developers should have made him a High Elf.

I can't say I hate the high elves... but i strongly dislike all the elf races except the orcs. i like orcs. i play as a nord.

As you can see by my avatar im a dumner for life. But iv seen alot of character polls and theirs a bunch of posts in them saying they hate High elves. Why? I know a lot of people say that their snobs and such but [censored] the game is based in the world where people can cast a spell and set you on fire or sllit your throat in a second. Id be a little snobby too and dark elfs are like that aswell but in know a lot of people who like them. Sooooooooooo Why? :shrug:

so yeah.. although it's a video game... so I will probably role an outcasted Altmer evil mage that makes it his personal mission to kill all humans, beasts and inferior elves that give him tongue, or are sickeningly nice, or w/e at some point.

Yes, they are one and the same.
Aldemri of Summerset Isle emigrated to Cyrodiil. They were known as Ayleids ( Heartland High Elves ).
The ones that remained on Summerset Isle became known as Altmer ( High Elves )

This. Their beliefs are that Alduin/Auri-El is a hero, and men are an abomination to be destroyed. While I can respect Akatosh/Alduin/Auri-El's power and purpose, as a human, I find believing in that rather disagreeable.
