High Elf Hate? : V

As you can see by my avatar im a dumner for life. But iv seen alot of character polls and theirs a bunch of posts in them saying they hate High elves. Why? I know a lot of people say that their snobs and such but [censored] the game is based in the world where people can cast a spell and set you on fire or sllit your throat in a second. Id be a little snobby too and dark elfs are like that aswell but in know a lot of people who like them. Sooooooooooo Why? :shrug:

They tend to be pretty snobby... They are written like that, but i dont really hate them. I hate some, but i some of all the races.

Eh, I don't really hate them but, I've never really gotten into playing as one. Don't get me wrong, I'm not opposed to the idea it's just... idk. I've never really stuck with a mage playthrough and HE seem more suited as mages, imo anyway.

I actualy find grumpy dunmer a bit easier to handle, at least they have a reason to be grumpy. Highelves just seem like arrogant jerks. When they act superior I like to smack them back in the face >=(

Besides, the gentlemen bandit dunmer of morrowind were rather effective at making me like the Dunmer. Shuch charming fellows. Stole my gold the bastards, but with mannors like that you can't stay mad...

I really dislike altmer, dunmer, and imperials. No offense, it's because of how I was treated in Morrowind.

Although The Forgotten Realms tempts me to play a Dunmer.

From a gameplay standpoint there's nothing wrong with them. Far be it from me not to try and get everything out of these games. But from a character standpoint they all have their noses so high in the air they're looking backwards which leads me to have a constant need to punch them in the stomach just to bring them back to reality.

I don't hate 'em. I don't get why anyone would say "I have X" race, with the pooossible exception of Argonians, as they aren't always in control of themselves (thanks to the Hist). That doesn't make them bad, though. And I like Argonians.

But for High Elves...I hate the Thalmor. Big time. That doesn't mean I hate all of the High Elves though, of course.

Strangely however, I dislike my "noble" bretheren even more than the lizard folks. Hate is a strong word though.

Most altmers Are jerks. But some Are intelligent mages! And thats awesome. Pretty much, i like all the races. I Think i am the only one here that isnt a racist :stare:

You totally missed the point of TES if you think that casting spells and swinging swords is what TES is all about.

Most altmers Are jerks. But some Are intelligent mages! And thats awesome. Pretty much, i like all the races. I Think i am the only one here that isnt a racist :stare:

So what if someone is a racist?
When you dislike some race with a good reason, then there is nothing wrong about it.
It's stupid when you dislike just for sake of being different.

...well, going by TES lore they are correct. Get enough people to believe anything and it'll become truth. It's crazy in it's purest form for sure, but it's still all true.
